- Q: How will I know how to use it?
See Rosner's book. It's required, IMO. Also join the discussion threads.
No more than every 12 days for LYME treatments until you would be well into treatment. Other infections can be "rifed" more frequently, however.
Liver support & kidney support is also REQUIRED, IMO. Links in the Rife set above.
Q: Is it safe for children?
That might depend on the age and individual load for the child. It's vital to get the advice of a LL ND who is experienced in this area. MDs are not allowed to advise but NDs can.
Of the LL NDs, not all are versed in rife so inquire as you explore.
If used for a child, support measures are absolutely required to help prevent &/or ease any herxheimer reactions.
I don't have a specific answer for you. Just looked in Rosner's index and "chidren" nor "child" not there. However, you can contact the author and ask.
I did a basic web search but did not find a link of authority, though can't really explore that now.
Do be aware that this is deemed an "experimental device" and while it may(or may not?) be just fine for a child, it's best to "fly under the radar" and not advertise that to others who are not well educated in this matter. It could be very much misinterpreted among those in your community.
And kids talk. So be very clear about the terms you use around this therapy. Don't call it by names that can be misinterpreted. For instance, some might use the term "Zap" and that can definitely lead to some inquiries by those unaware. But I even hate the term "nuke it" for food in the microwave.
If you determine it's fine for a child, depending upon the child's age and ability to filter what they say to others,
I would just call it a "LIGHT MACHINE" Espcially if you've not yet gotten one and don't yet have a RIFE book lying around, at least the EMEM 5a with it's fancy light bulb could be called a LIGHT MACHINE just fine.
Different frequencies of light - when you change the numbers around the light will change, too - similar to different watts of other kinds of light bulbs. A rife light just moves differently.
Other kinds of rife that may not have a light bulb might be called and internal kind of massage, explain that sound travels in decibles and that sound(even when we can't hear it) is vibration that can literally move air - and us, even inside - the vibrations can "massage" us. Something like that.
Not quite scientific as RIFE is actually RADIO frequency but for a child who may talk simple explanations are helpful.
"How to Find a LL ND" is in the set above.
Q: And do you continue antibiotics while using it?
No. And, maybe - in rotation. Some do. Some don't. Details explained in Rosner's book and in the discussion thread.
Q: How much success have you had with it?
See the discussion thread. Many good accounts and also good trouble-shooting. -

We are using our rife machine with our children - though none of them have Lyme.
But it sure is helpful with the sore throats, colds, coughs, etc going around.
My husband used the rife machine while on antibiotics for Lyme and babesia.

- I don't have time or energy to take it from here but, the Advanced Search feature for Google can help streamline a search.
Still, you'll have to weed out the authorities' / experts' posts from the anecdotal ones that have merit, from those that might not, from the advertisers who sneak in.
There is no perfect search engine that finds only the top quality answers. Google Scholar is a nice search feature to weed out advertisers but not likely a huge help with rife.

Thank you! lI was hoping more people had used on
their children, so I felt better about it. My
children have been on antibiotics for quite some
time and I just question sometimes if that is
the right thing to do for them. I am afraid of
what it is doing to their insides!! I am
exploring different options, just not sure what
to do!! You never know if you are making the
right decision!!! I have heard great feedback
about rife, just scared about it with my
children! But am also scared putting all these
antibiotics in them everyday as well!! Thanks!

- All Understandable.
When you get a chance to talk to others who will know for sure some details, I hope you'll be able to come back here and post that for other parents.
I know that were I to be a parent, I'd sure be considering rife.
I know it's been very helpful for some pets regarding lyme. Different species, of course but thinking about size of the mammal as well. Pets are usually smaller than kids. -

- You can still contact Rosner and other Rife authors but I posted your question here on page 55 of the Rife Discussion Thread:
Willo7 has some questions. Most reconciled except for this one:
Can RIFE be used to treat CHILDREN who have lyme? -------
Willo: Look for replies here in your thread or there at the link above. -

Quite few people have treated children with no reported problems. The same holds true for children as adults. It is an experimental treatment and while it has been used by thousands without any serious negative results, all effects are likely not known.
