It seems the more I treat the worse I've been feeling-and now the neck pain. It's not like the kind you can massage. I've had an MRI in the past and it was clear. I'm not clenching my jaw at night.. what can it be? It's kinda like at the base of your head and it fans out as it goes up causing me terrible headaches. Ugh. this is so tough.

I also had this pain. It is better now. I still have neck pain, but not nearly at the horrible level that it was.
The thing that decreased the level of my neck & head pain from a 10 to about a 4 was lots of doxy.
I was 9 months into treatment when the neck pain started to get better.
I empathize with you. Hang in there!

I had horrible neck pain from Babesiosis. Do you have it?
I got some relief by heating up a "Bed Buddy" in the microwave and wrapping it around my neck. If you are not familiar with it, you can see it at

There are many people who received help with neck and all kinds of pain from serra peptase enzyme . Read reviews about it at iherb.
Also consider glucosamine/ chondroitin/ or MSM . They are not quick fixes , but a few weeks could make a big difference. Reviews on these at iherb are impressive .

Two things have helped mine - the antibiotic treatments mostly, and some acupuncture for stubborn remnants. I'll admit to being really surprised about how well the acupuncture worked! I had never tried that before.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Some I've tried and others not, so they are really appreciated. I'm wondering if some of this pain comes from undiagnosed POTS.. thanks again and glad some of you were helped at least symptomatically.
