Does lyme disease cause weight gain?

In some people it does. We end up being insulin resistent. Some of the abx we take don't help either. Our activity level drops and that also contributes to weight gain.
Hormones, thyroid and adrenals are not working properly so we have a lot working against us.
Having said that, I have to work hard not to gain weight and we can't keep it on my husband. The weight issue goes both ways.
Just sharing my experience, I am not a doctor.
