I have heard and known of some successes with herbal protocols but I have never heard of a success story with just homeopathy.

There may be some but most incorporate other modalities at the same time. Homeopathy, alone, is not at all likely to have any effect whatsoever again infection such as lyme.

It can, however, help with symptom relief.

[If taken immediately after a tick bite, like when still out at the time of tick attachment, LEDUM homeopathic may be of help but, even then, it would be followed with aggressive herbal treatment.]

Rather than (just) a homeoopathy doctor, might I suggest an ILADS-educated lyme literate naturopathic doctor who is well educated in herbal medicine -- yet also has training in homeopathy? Details below will explain more.

Just to be clear (as it took me a long time to figure out the differences), homeopathy is not the same as herbal medicine however they can be used together, along with other (non-herbal) nutritional supplements for support.

And many LL NDs also incorporate antibiotics in treatment of lyme.

When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods:

if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL (lyme literate) doctor who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -

- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present.

Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.

When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.

How to find an ILADS-educated LL:

N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor);

L.Ac. (Acupuncturist);

D.Ay. (Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine);

D.O.M. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine);

Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc. (Be aware that those in this category can have various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first.)

Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:

Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;

knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.

You can compare and contrast many approaches.

BASIC HERBAL EDUCATIONAL & SAFETY links,

BODY WORK links with safety tailored to lyme patients,

LOW HEAT INFRARED SAUNA detail,

BIONIC 880 (& PE-1) links, and

RIFE links.

What ILADS is

& WHY you need an ILADS-educated, Lyme Literate Doctor (whether LLMD or LL ND, or both)

Homeopathic nosodes of Borrelia through photons is, essentially, an homeopathic treatment. that was the ONLY thing that put my borrelia dormant for now, almost 4 years.

All Pekana, Heel, Deseret Biologicals, Sanum, are all homeopathic (not classic, but still use the principle). Very useful for cleaning and killing.

Sanum remedies are amazingly efficient for infections, where no other treatment reach (just try to get rid of dental infections with conventional ways...).

Homeopathic remedies can be used even for MORE THINGS that all plant medicine combined, in my opinion. This is because of dilutions. And essentially, all plants can become homeopathic remedies, and for different fuctions.

So asking if homeopathy is useful or not, it is like asking if plants and supplements are useful or successful.

Difficult question to answer. In most of the times I was treated for lyme, I used about 70% of homeopathic products daily. The rest were herbs or supplements.

Without homeopathy (classical approach included), I think I would still be sick.

Without homeopathy, I wonder how can people fight candida infections that are very chronic, in a reasonable time lapse (not in decades, like it was my case)...

I now live mostly candida free, but it took me literally decades to find treatments.

Only with homeopathy, I wouldn't get rid of it (I needed more than that), but it was still (and it is) one of the most used remedies at home, for most acute or chronic infections.

Once I was back to health (meaning, not really fighting infections daily), I use now more plants and suppplements than homeopathy, to keep my health (like Vit D3, enzymes, chlorella, basic minerals etc). But to fight disease, I find homeopathic products very good.

Unfortunately, homeopathy was born in Europe, it is ver much used in some countries here, and well developed in countries like Brazil, but very underdeveloped in the US and Canada, so it is difficult to find practioners there.

Brussels, I have long term yeast/fungus. What did you use to treat this with?

I need to get this whipped so I can eat more.

I do not do ANY carbs other than what is in carrots and occassionaly frozen green peas.

I live in Ks and know practitioners in Ks and Co. that will treat with homeopathy if anyone needs info.

Also, do you know if there is a non-alcohol based company for homeopathies?

My LLMD put me on a Byron White(A-L Complex)that was a grape alcohol at 40%.

I tried it knowing I have issues with alcohol.

I was hoping it would work anyway. Well, it didn't.

I would love to find something that is comparable.
I know there are things that are not in alcohol

because Woodland Essence make their Cryptolepis with alcohol and one with glycerin.

I called the company and asked if they did.

I shared this with my LLMD who did not know Cryptolepis was available in glycerin form.

Any of you know the difference between MMS and Byron White's A-L Complex?

Do they each target different problems?

If so, is there anything that would go after and address what the A-L Complex does?

It will be 1 year in March that Im off abx and only treating with homeopathics plus few supplements with great success. I ingest some and I use some with photons. In 10 months of treatment Borrela, Babesia, Bartonella , Mycoplasma went dormant. I could never achieve that result using abx for 2.5 years.

Discovery of homeopathy was the turning point in my recovery. It is true tough, that I was never able to find a practitioner, homeopath or naturopath in Canada who I can rely on, so I do this on my own.

I also use supplements (Core to treat KPU) and some herbs (Parastroy, Mimosa pudica to treat parasites ).

Most of the homeopathics that I buy are not alcohol based but, rather sugar pellets based. Sometimes I make energetic imprints of those in water and take that . It is as potent as the remedies itself, for those who have Candida/yeast issues.

Dr. K. recommends long term Sanum product intake to eliminate Candida/fungi. From my personal experience, energetic tests are mandatory to guide you through this treatment.

I find homeopathic treatment is very powerful, even stronger then herbs and abx, but you have to know how to do it right!!!!

Katrina Makris is a homeopath who got Lymed and wrote a book about it, "Out Of The Woods." She's on facebook and you could contact her there.

cozynana, Byron White AL Complex and MMS are totally different. AL Complex is a formula of herbs that goes after lyme disease and boosts your immune system. You need to have this prescribed by a lyme practitioner.

MMS is a controversial mineral compound that is supposed to help you get rid of toxins in your system. Gigi writes a lot about it. Do a search on it and you will get lots more information.

I agree with Anuta. Homeopathics, when used right, can be much stronger than herbs or supplements. Not always, but pretty often.

Chronic candida treatment is an example. Or chronic dental infections.

What treatment affect these as well as homeopathic ones? I still didn't find any other (except for long term heavy metal detox + allergy immune + KPU treatments, but count that treatment on years, not on months).

No herb, no supplements help as much as right homeopathics, in my own experience. At least for chronic candida and chronic borrelia.

The problem, as with other treatments, is that guessing game will take long (in case you don't use energy testing).

It takes long to guess which antibiotic works for each problem, which herb works, which supplement works. Not different for homeopathics.

That is why I think that energetic tests are important, no matter which way one chooses to go.

Treating ANYTHING that went chronic without energetic tests is like choosing to do a very very long and hard treatment, that may never end, as long as you life lasts. This is just my opinion, after LITERALLY decades of fight against chronic candida.

Don't discard long term heavy metal detox, parasite treatment, KPU, allergy treatment... They are a must long term.

But if you want your candida NOW to give you a break, I still didn't find aynthing more efficient that Sanum products (OR the exact candida strain you are fighting).

Sanum is amazing as killers, when energetically tested.

And if you use photons (with Sanum taped on the solar plexus), you will get a very strong reaction (but not strong in a 'bad' way, like with drugs or herbs).

I had much more trouble with herbs than homeopathics. Herxes were always worse with killing herbs like Cats claw, Pau d'arco, or even Japanese knowtweed, for example.

The photon way is just deeper, long lasting, it goes everywhere, I have the impression it could even clean my bones, if there were infections there. No kidding.

That is why I believe one can treat rather easily active dental infections, GI infections, joint infections, skin infections, brain infections with help of photons and nosodes. They continue to amaze me.

But remind that they only treat infections, not the causes of infections. The causes must be addressed in all other ways (cleansing, EMR avoidance, allergy free diet, heavy metal detox, etc).

To take away sugar or alcohol from an homeopathic product is VERY EASY.

Just dilute it to the next dilution (if a X10, make it to X11) and consume it.

It will have only 10% of the original alcohol or sugar content. Google how to make your own homeopathic product. Once you buy one Sanum or one nosode, it will take you VERY long to consume it, once you dilute it to the next dilution.

Sanum has NO ALCOHOL, NO SUGAR, but once you open the bottle, you must consume it fast. I add alcohol to all my Sanum, so that I can keep it for longer. You can also buy homeopathic sugar pellets for almost nothing, and just spray Sanum on them, and keep them for decades, without problem.
