Hi everyone! What type of salt did you use specifically for the salt/c protocol?

I have the book by Fett to follow but when I go to the recommended websites, there's a billion types of salt!! Some are in shakers, 5 lb bags, rocks! I'm so confused!

I wanted to start a low dose of the salt/c and add a bit of the salt into my diet as well since I suffer from hypotension most of the time (why not try to kill 2 birds in one stone naturally, right?).

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

I use Real Salt or Humalyan. Either one is fine and great for hypotension. I get mine at Vitacost.

Good Luck with the protocol. Salt and Vit C are great support for the adrenals as well. Also consider adding an antiparastic herbs such as Parastroy at some point.

I have to ask you guys, did you have stomach bloating that disappeared after some time with the salt/c treatment?

I get up everyday and my stomach is flat. By night, I look 4 months pregnant. I don't get it at all! I know that sounds silly but it's true.

I don't drink sodas or eat excessively or anything that I truly shouldn't that would cause me to bloat like this.

The bloating is from the parasites/yeast/toxins etx. It got less and less as I got rid of the infections. Drinking plain kefir and also doing warm water enemas and colonics also help. I have read that we are carrying approx 12 lbs of parasites.

Shouldn't one be careful to monitor their blood pressure while doing salt/c? I have heard some horror stories?

Sea Salt is totally different than table salt which has chemicals and is devoid of the good minerals. I have actually heard people say that their pressure went down when doing this protocol.

That being said, one should ramp up very slowly when doing salt/c and start with only 1/4tsp in a glass of water.

Actually a lot less than that is ingested just in a daily diet. Monitoring your b/p is also a good idea. The sea salt and vitamin C are great for the adrenals and healing in so many other ways.

Don't tell me my pressure will go down! I'll be dead! lol

I have very low blood pressure at times. I can usually tell because of the typical blackening of vision upon standing (orthostatic hypotension). I suspect POTS, but never was tested for it.

I haven't been feeling well and my pressure was down to 96/58. I've been eating lots of salty things to try and raise it naturally.

The florinef they give for that is brutal and I refuse to take that again. Then again, I didn't know I had lyme at that time.

I happen to have an LLMD appt. tomorrow so I will talk to the doc.

I just need to shake some of this neuro stuff already! But I've read taking doxy is brutal (I take doxy at a low dose and slowly am building up to a full dose and I take Bactrim as well).

Jessie,

I think it all depends on what's normal for the individual. I ran a VERY low b/p for years...like 80/30...100/40, and the salt/c brought it up to a more normal for me.

It runs 115/80 to 120/80 since doing salt/c. So I think you will be just fine with salt/c.
