I know that some people here were using the IRMS six months ago, so how are you finding it now?

Has anyone else got one?

I don't know about that particular machine, but I do know that PEMF treatment is pretty much in the fantastic category for us. Gotta go now - be back later to discuss.

Ok, am back - the electromagnetic impulses of a PEMF help restore the body's depleted e'm energy in every cell, and so make every cell function better. Result - lowered pain, more energy, faster healing, etc.

After sessions holding the white coil clicking these pulses, my tinnitus would go away for 6 hours. I asked a top LLMD about it and they said it probably quieted down the nerves to the ears.

I like the iMRS, but I don't seem to be having the results I had in the beginning. I truly thought this was going to be a cure for me.

I am back on the same consistency and intensity as before. I hope that it will get me back on track. As of right now I am not having the results I did in the beginning.

I have no regrets buying the mat. I believe it is helping with sleep and some issues, I just don't know if it is a cure.

The mat combined with lots of prayer may be a good protocol [Wink]

Thank you, both of you, for your comments. Haley, I am sorry to hear that your results are not as good as earlier: do you perhaps need more guidance from Mediconsult or from the person you bought the machine from do you think?

Robin, amazing to hear about the effect on your tinnitus! Can you remember which machine you were using (presumably in a clinic setting)?

I have been wondering about PEMF for a while and have a small, handheld device that I find awkward to use, especially on my back, which is getting worse and worse. I like the idea of the IMRS using the same frequencies as the earth and would hope that, potentially at least, it would help me in several ways:

pain relief, especially in the back and coccyx, oxygenation , better circulation (and thereby better absorption of antimicrobials and supplements, also warmer extremities), strengthening of bones, increased detox, maybe even improvements to digestive system, nerve improvements etc.

Having said that, I am not going into it with the expectancy of a cure, but for an improved quality of life, as I have been ill for a long time and deteriorating in some respects. At the moment, I am intending to rent a machine for a month to test it out.

I tried the pad for 3 months, I did a rental instead of buying it. I felt much more relaxed when I was finished with a 30 minute session.

I stopped because I could not determine any sustained benefits. I may have needed to use it longer than 3 times a week for 3 months but again I could tell if I was getting better but I was more relaxed so it might have helped with overall inflammation.

I did try the Dr G (he does not treat Lyme directly but you can see his article on the betterhealthguy.com) machine. It is 20000 gauss and I really felt it helped with liver repair. I used it when my liver enzymes got out of range and I had considerable pain in the liver area for about 5 months. Castor Oil packs were not helping much so I looked for other options.

A nurse in the area uses it to help her cancer patients. It was $40 per treatment and I did it about 5 or 6 times. I have pretty much recovered and am using a Doug Coil now so I no longer use the device but was impressed by how I felt after each treatment.

All the Best, MattH

Thanks MattH and great to hear that you are so much better.

I don't know whether the PEMF100 is available in a clinic in UK, but I do know that I wouldn't feel happy using it at home because it is so much mire powerful (even if I could afford it!!).

I have today bitten the bullet and ordered the IMRS 2000 on a rent to buy basis. The woman I am buying it through has Lyme and was very realistic about the sort of improvements I might expect to get, so we will see.

ukcarry, re my tinnitus disappearing for 6 hours after the PEMF treatment, I don't know the model of the machine - its strength was 400-700 gauss.

That's how I ended up buying it. I was offered a free month a while back. I thought it was a complete joke, but did it because it was free. I ended up buying the mat.

I believe that the higher frequencies work better, just my own personal experience, not everyones.

My doctor says that it increases blood flow, he has a similar mat in his office (I think it does more than that), but my doc is incredibly bright so I listen to his words of wisdom [Wink]

The increased blood flow alone would be great. I will start off, I expect, at the 'sensitive'setting, as I have detox problems and don't want to be overwhelmed. The potenetial to help with detox is one of the reasons for trying the machine.

I exchanged emails with a US chiro earlier in the year about IMRS 2000, as he has one in his office. He was very helpful, even though he had nothing to gain from me as I am in UK.

He told me that he thought the IMRS would be a great adjunct to healing from Lyme, but stressed that it needs daily use. He seems to have quite a few Lyme patients. He also recommended the whole body vibration (Zaaz?).

Ukcarry,

Depending on where you are in your recovery this could be a very good tool. As I look back on when I tried it last year, I think I was so blocked that 3 months was clearly not enough time to help me but I did not want to make the purchase since I had no lasting improvement.

My Dr K practitioner later that year said that the even the ABX had stopped working because everything was blocked.

I also was so impatient then that after 90 days I was off trying another avenue of treatment while continuing the ABX.

All the Best, MattH

Thanks for your encouragement and insight, MattH.

Sometimes it is really hard to judge whether something will help in the longterm and especially hard when a lot of money is involved, as it obviously makes you keener to see clearly the benefits. The woman with Lyme who will be my advisor has warned me that I am likely to see fairly minor improvements in the first 2 months, so I will see. She has improved enough to go back to work and open her own busines.

If it helps with my husband's arthritis, that would also be great.

Sorry that you were blocked at that time, MattH,but it is so good that you are much improved now. I will post in due course when I have given the IMRS a thorough go.

Our daughter has been using it for more than a year and she likes it a lot.

The mat has nothing to do with curing Lyme & co's. But it is very helpful for relieving some of her symptoms temporarily, which is a HUGE benefit.

She uses it on the lowest settings to relax her over-reactive nervous system, so it aids with sleep problems, irritability, and anxiety. Worth every penny of the purchase price!

She also has an idea that it is a gentle way to reduce her heavy metals toxicity. I believe her, although there is no easy way to prove this.

Thanks for telling me this, Richard. I am not expecting a cure from the mat, but a better quality of life, even if it is in small ways, so this is very encouraging to hear.

I wish your daughter all the best for her recovery.

I personally believe it kills pathogens, that's just my own intuitive thought not what the company says.

I have a port in my chest and have been doing abx for years. For the first time my boyfriend looked at me and said "you have been different since using that mat". I also had another friend that noticed the difference immediately.

I can't say I am having those results now, but I have faith that I will get back there. You must be consistent with your use. If it stops working ask yourself if you are using it as much as you were in the beginning. Ask yourself which things you are doing differently. I zap my head with the probe at 400. I really think that does something.

I have not met anyone that has regretted making the purchase.

Of course, the obvious, also have an impeccable diet etc.

Haley, these are very wise and useful words, so thank you. I do so hope that you can get back that improvement. Know what you mean about people looking at you and suddenly seeing the difference.

I am nervous about starting it because I am a slow detoxifier with heavy metals, so am expecting a difficult time with detox, but hope to be able to persevere with that by getting the intensity and timing right and not rushing things.

Thank you again for your thoughtful comments.
