Yay, LLMD gave me Diflucan, but am staying on abx. What CAN I take with Dilucan? Supps., herbs, probiotics, abx.?
Thanks, I hope this helps because all my infections are worse right now.

I would take it away from meds if I were you. It made me nauseous when I took it with abx.
I take mine with a few herbs, but I think it's best to take this one by itself. Also, don't take it with minerals, so watch out for multivitamins (the minerals bind & weaken the difulcan). I take it at lunch time, then take other stuff at snack time (vitamins, minerals, more herbs). I don't think pbx will affect it, or it them.

If you are taking the probiotic saccharomyces boulardii, a beneficial yeast (which you should), then take Diflucan 2 hours before or after.
I take Diflucan with food as it nauseates me on an empty stomach.
I have taken it with antibiotics and other supplements as long as my stomach tolerates it. But to make sure that it does not interact poorly with what you are personally taking I would check the drug interaction checker here: http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.phpPosts: 1600 | From Maine | Registered: Jun 2004
