I remember being bitten by an unknown insect that gave what looked like a mosquito bite on just below my right ear while taking care of my rescue horse. I started having worsening symptoms that I thought was my Diflucan herx on the same side as the bite. I have the left eye socket pain, left neck glands and jaw on that side very painful. I also got achy all over. Is it possible to get a reaction within say 8 or 9 hours to a parasite?

Well, I think they can carry parasites, don't know how quickly the symptoms can occur.
