Is metronidazole (flagyl) pills or gel the most effective treatment?

Will the gel cause systemic yeast issues?

I would recommend you do a web search for writing by this doctor. Deborah A Metzger, PhD, MD

She's all about endoc system. Also some lyme specific issues that arise. Vaginal & urinary tract.

I can't copy and paste the article I found today, but what great info: Interstitial Cystitis as a manifestation of Lyme Disease.

Everything in the private area can be irritated from normal bodily functions. The bacteria(s) then find their way into other areas.
