I brought this to the forum because I don't know what tbhis is.

I am on a boat load of drugs to handle the current crisis in my family with my son, like antidepressants, and antipsychotics because they make me sleepy.

I don't have a good liver or pancreas due to genetics, alcohol, antibiotics, and a few other things. Also documented bad gall bladder.

I am alos getting close to 50.

So, this is the deal.

I have horrible shivers, and they are accompanied by lots of sweating as I sleep which makes me even colder and wakes me up.

I am constipated, pooping out rocks that don't usually float but have sometimes blood in them because they tear my rectum.

My face is ruddy, although I sauna and don't shower as often as I need to.

I do get pain in the triad of the gbladder, pancreas, and liver sometimes when I drink.

I have recently started coming off my pills which work to lower my blood pressure, as I find I get easily winded and weak when I'm stressed or in the heat.

So, am I dying?

What say you?

Thanks Loads,

2roads

The constipation, complexion changing and night sweats are menopause symptoms. At that time of life thyroid tends to go off too which also causes the constipation and skin changes.

Are you being treated for Babesia? Night sweats can be caused by that as well.

Get some bloodwork done checking hormone, thyroid and adrenal levels.

thanks faithful.

I also have goose bumps.

it's so weird.

Something else I forgot to mention....what was it.

I don't know....I'm sure maximum stress for two years has also done me in.

Will look into it thanks.

Psyllium husk away from abx or other drugs is REALLY helpful for constipation. Drink lots of water through the day too.

I have had really good luck with 1) low dose bioidentical progesterone cream and 2) Buhner's complete bartonella herbal protocol (minus l-arginine) for hot flashes/chill.

After all my hormone levels tested normal, the endocrinologist suggested I was having psych difficulties. I gave up and treated myself.

13 yo DX PANS/Tourette's/Asperger's/ADHD treated for Igenex positive bartonella/IND lyme with 2 years of abx treatment. Weaned off abx April 2013 at 80% improvement. Continuing with Buhner bartonella/babesia protocols. Aug 2014 99% improvement.

Hi 2Roads-I can relate to the cold sweats and shivers.

I get the cold shivers and the cold sweats in the afternoons.

I can't pin it down but the closest I can come to guessing for me is anxiety.

It is either stress from external influences, or stress from bartonella.

Bartonella is causing me a lot of problems mentally. My doc said Bart neurotoxins stimulate the amygdala, which causes my body to think it is in "fight or flight" mode.

Do you/have you had bartonella?

thanks rowingmom and Greta for your input.

"Psych difficulties".....unbelievable. I've been dealing with that for two years now, and the reality is quite sad. No one but me ever really gave my son the time of day to realise that things have changed, but me.

I'm not crazy....they are just either in denial or out to lunch. Sorry you got roped into that nonsense rowingmom.

I don't think is TBI related. maybe I should,ve posted in general. This is something else.

I always thought when you had menopause issues you had hot flashes. I don't have them. I have goose bumps, shivers, I'm cold from the inside out. Yet, I sweat sleeping, and get more cold.

Is that something that is possible with menopause, I wonder. Sorry you get that too Greta. Stress makes me focus on it more and I get colder, but the sweats are totally uncontrolled when I'm sleeping, as well as the cold.

I just went to the bathroom and actually had more then just rocks. Not to be graphic, but the remaining stool was cylindrical, but slipped out of me. Sounds weird, cause don't they all, but this is more fatty like. hard to explain.

I am also naauseous, and today, as the day is progressing, dizzy. Maybe that is stress, or maybe withdrawl from the 6 pills I stopped taking 24 hours ago.

Two nights ago, as I slept, I also jolted awake all throughout the night. it was like a severe myoclonic jerk that jolted me awake. Sort of looked like my son who now rouses all throughout the night. Thank goodness that was one night. I couldn't imagine living with that, poor sweetie.

ugh

2roads, do you have a fever? How's your blood pressure? If you're throwing up, it's not just menopause.

And are you tapering off your meds or just stopping them? It can be dangerous to just stop--especially if the meds are for blood pressure.

Sorry you're going through this.
