and here is a man with severe Lyme who walks after only 3 cups of cannabis tea, not the oil... so maybe just the tea can do the trick for some folks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz_N3ZKxCSAPosts: 802 | From USA | Registered: Oct 2013

I have been using Cannabis oil for just over a month. Relieves most of the symptoms.

I've been using a great 5% CBD oil in pretty large doses. I've tried oils and pastes from multiple strains including the Rick Simpson standard.
I go through phases where I use it for months then I won't for months. It seems to work great at first for me and then fades. There's positives and negatives for me. And even the low THC types can still pack a buzz.
For me, it's not the miracle cure that a lot YouTube videos claim but it's benefits are undeniable. It's also readily available to anyone in any state or country to Lyme patients. There's an outlet in Colorado that will supply to the sick and they are extremely interested in supplying to Lyme patients as they've had success with cancer patients. It's based on donation system and you must have a dr's "ok"
I'm not gonna post the name of it, even though I know the owner and he wants me to tell everyone I know. But I have a feeling the mods wouldn't want me to, justifiably. But if the mods say I can, I will.
Positives for me: Elevated Mood Sleep Appetite Weened me off of a few pharmaceuticals CNS and neurological activity suppression Anger management
Negatives: Sluggish liver and metabolism Definite immune suppression whether vaped or oral intake I have walking issues that sometimes get a lot worse so I guess I'm the opposite of the guy above Does nothing good for a foggy brain or dizziness(makes worse)
Obviously, price and risk are negatives, but the fact that this drug is illegal is a joke. I haven't found it to be curative, it's more of a symptomatic help. Also, marinol was terrible and expensive. I read it was dangerous as well.
Again, this is all me. So I'd stress "different strokes for different folks"

There are stories on the internet from people who say they got rid of Lyme using Cannabis oil.
What works for me is to do tiny doses every 2 hours to keep the oil in your system.

Droid, I tried pming you but your box is full.
i am interested in the cbd oil but it sucks it is illegal and I honestly think that if alcohol is legal there is no reason why marijuana shouldn't be. Especially for medical treatment.
If I could just get symptom relief that would be great but another group I have been looking at thinks it is antibacterial too.

When I dose every couple of hours, most symptoms are gone. The only symptom that hangs around is fatigue but with sleeping so much better, that is getting better too.
This is legal in my state but not all dispensaries make the oil. We are also legal for recreational use and that is where the money is for the dispensaries.
Recreational costs more, has higher taxes and the quality of what is being sold is inferior to the medical side.

Weed has been shown to have ABX effects- I smoked weed the whole time I was sick and the times that I did not have any I would get sicker -
I did not really talk about it much on here because there are people that no matter what it is - if the government says its illegal they fallow the rules like sheep -
About 70% of All medicines are plant based -

Its interesting the different results that people get. Im assuming at this point that results will vary according to what kind of cannabis oil that you have and what strain of plant was used to make it.
I have no doubt that it kills pathogens. But like with all the other antimicrobials out there, both pharmaceutical and otherwise, it has to contend with that cyst and that darned life cycle the microbe has. So far I have no reason to say that cannabis oil can penetrate a cyst and kill its contents. It may take a very long time for the disease to cure, months not weeks, of consistent dosage with the right product. Taking enzymes with it might help speed the process up.

While exploring herbal Lyme treatments I read about the use of Cannabis Oil a couple of weeks ago.
One MD writes (eBook on the MD's site) the number one treatment option/protocol is Cannabis oil. He then states that since most cannot get the oil his next best protocol is rifing.
I am wondering how to get the actual oil that is beneficial. I think Rick Simpson states that he cannot recommend (now at least) where to get the most effective oil. So any clarification on type of oil to use and where to get it would help. I think the time frame discussed was several times a day for a minimum of 6 months, but of course that depends on an individuals progress.
I was also wondering if high quality Hemp oil was of benefit?
All the Best, MattH
