My first sx of Lyme was vulvodenia/IC, that was almost 10 years ago. It was never gone but very mild as the Lyme took over my nervous system and brain. I just started an abx protocol and finished my first week. My vulvodenia/IC sx's are back big time! It's miserable combining it with all the other neuro sxs I now have. Has anyone had these sxs? Any advice to calm it down? I'm hoping it will get better with the abx!

I have never had a dr tie the vulvodenia to Lyme. Doesn't mean it isn't connected!
The drs keep telling me to go for physical therapy, but after one try it sent me running. Don't think I had a good therapist.
Warm baths or compresses help a bit. Check and make sure your vaginal area is not overly dry from hormones, etc and causing symptoms to magnify. Laundry detergent should be mild.
IC is diet and managing stress. I think, for me, Lyme settled in my weakest area which was my abdominal area. Do you take Atarax? Has your doc suggested Claritin or something like it?
It is a double duo that really messes up quality of life. Add other Lyme symptoms and life is tough.
Don't know that I have helped, but I can't say it hurts and I understand!!

Have you treated for yeast? Yeast infections can cause vulvodynia type symptoms.
