Is weight loss common with chronic lyme - I have changed my diet over the past few months and have lost about 25 lbs rather quickly .... Just another thing I worry about

I lost 10% of my body weight in the course of 2 months early on in treatment w/my current llmd.
Not sure exactly why but I never gained it back. I was not trying to lose weight as I was already quite thin.
Change in diet? Liver issues?

If you eliminated or reduced simple carbs you will lose weight.
"Food combining" will help one lose weight. When we eat the way we should eat while on abx we are doing that by "default."
Food combining says to not eat proteins with grains or starches.
Is that how you are eating?
Some with Lyme disease gain weight, some lose weight. Ya never know, but do mention it to your Dr if you are concerned.

before I got diagnosed I lost probably 40 pounds or more. I ate maybe a half a bagel as day, sometimes nothing.
my doc said he was going to admit me and have me put on iv nutrition.
eventually I started gaining. now I'd really like to loose it but can't.

It is for me (now).
When I first started treating I gained ten pounds.
In the last 6 months or so I've lost 30 lbs.
I keep losing about a pound a week.
My diet is the same since before starting treatment (always been low carb), except now I don't exercise.
Haha go figure. Tried for years to lose weight-exercised my butt off. Stopped exercising-keep losing weight now.

I gained 30 pounds over night it seemed acouple of yrs ago. I think it was def the lyme and co.
during my treatment (after being diagnosed last summer) I lost 30 pounds in 2 months! becasue I had such terrible GI issues.
now I gained about 10 back and I would have like to keep that off! haha
I feel really good, but cant really exercise yet. I am hopeing to start that up soon maybe.
