I am confused. I thought Repel was for clothing only but some where I read to use it on your skin too. Is Repel for your clothes only or also for use on your skin.

Read ingredients. If it has permethrin or pyrythrin do not put on skin
That used to be the main ingredient but every year they change them-makes me nuts

Repel makes products for both the skin and for clothing/gear. I use both. It says on the can which is which.
The clothing spray should be applied at least two hours before you wear them. I believe one application lasts for up to two weeks or through five washings.
