Okay.......
The blood range is 280-295, we got 302.
The urine range was 500-850, we got 1040.
I am concerned about the disregulation of the anti-diuretic hormone, ADH.
I am also concerned about central diabietes insipidus. But with that, one usually expects high serum osmolality, but LOW urine osmolality. So, that is off.
This is for my son who has nightime enuresis at almost age 12, and pees a boat load every night in the pullup, and many nights through to the bed.
During the day he does not pee out of the ordinary. I have seen urine that is quite clear though, another diabetes insipidous concern. Is thirsty somewhat more then the average child during the day, but not extreme.
Lab technician was more concerned about it then the urologist. The uro bounced it off an intern, and they blessed it off.
I'm sorry, but I don;t know how they can do that with the serum level being elevated and the urinating at night. Maybe he's got two problems going on that raise both levels independently.
I made it very clear to the uro I was worried it could be neurological, something he is not an expert in.
I know at night my son's sleep is disasterous. Constant rousing. I feel like this is related and is due to hypothalamus disregulation due to brain damage. The cause is likely toxin related.
Anyone have experience with these osmality levels and situation surrounding it?
So appreciative,
2roads
