What is the best lab for testing yeast and gut flora? I keep having digestive issues that resolve for months and then come back....passing undigested food, horrible burning digestive tract, etc. -------------------- Tick bite May 2009 Diagnosed June 2009

Hi Rzr, I believe it is called a Total Comprehensive Stool Analysis/Test I have not had one myself but folks in my support group recommended one when I was having the runs real bad. I have the undigested food also. Since Alinia it has been better. Sorry you have the stomach issues. I hope others will suggest tests that have worked for them. There is a site called the powerofpoop and it has some pdf that explains what the comprehensive stool analysis tests for.

Hubby's favorite lab for G.I. testing was DiagnosTechs. The complete G.I. panel is what you need. The advantage of their testing over the old Great Smokies (now Genova Diagnostics I think) is that parasite test are also done on saliva I think - not just stool. Bea Seibert
