I think this is fairly typical. In the beginning of my treatment, I constantly felt something running down the side of my head.
Sometimes, the sensation was so intense I'd run to a mirror to double-check, even though my SO would assure me there was nothing there.
It still happens occasionally--always in exactly the same place.
It did get less intense wtih time and treatment, though. Maybe that can be some hope.

It parathesisas; it's from damage to the peripheral nerves by Bb. If it doesn't get better from abx, you could look into IVIG. That repairs the nerves---along with the abx, not instead of it.

I'v had the sensation of water running in the skin of my legs. My doctor said it was Bb and I use Arteminisinin for it. I've also had crawling sensations in my skin and don't know what causes that but have noticed that when I take Cat's Claw it disappears.

I also think it is a nerve damage from infections. Many people will have that feeling with lyme, just check lymenet. I think it is more common to have that feeling than NOT to have that creeping feeling.
Good news is that my creepy sensations disappeared when lyme got dormant.

I also have had that symptom. I was constantly brushing away something that wasn't there. It's one symptom that has gotten better with treatment although it returns sometimes.
