Each time I take a remedy I need to differentiate to see if I can find one that fits the overall picture BEST, especially, I pull in the sensation of the pain and also the mental and emotional state and the modalities like "worse before a storm". There are more remedies for this symptom so if I don't see that the common ones work I look at other possibilities.
For pain I go with a potency of 30c over a 6c, as I think a 6c might not be strong enough. But if that is all that is available I might just have to repeat a 6c more often. If I don't see any change in 3 doses then I stop taking it because it is not the right remedy and has no action for me.
I also stop taking it if there is aggravation. Sometimes a remedy can aggravate and but then afterwards I see an improvement. I can stop any homeopathic remedy with some strong peppermint oil on my tongue.
I'm not a medical doctor and these are just my opinions.

I have weather dependent issues also and curiously my doc recommended I go to a tanning bed... now not like people that do it to tan but maybe once a week or every other week when the weather is bad. I found especially during cold weather this has helped take an edge off as well as help with my mental stability when I am in pain. I also use a hot tub almost daily as well as massage and meditation for pain. I force myself to stretch but it does help even if it is painful.
I cannot take pain killers or NSAIDs because I am on Low dose Antigen therapy and cannot take meds or supplements. I also did a food elimination challenge and found I have several food sensitivities that were not the norm eggs, dairy, gluten and eliminating them has helped a great deal.
Also muscle cramping and tightness may be helped with potassium and magnesium. But I would just start trying things and find what works for you.
I also see a energy chiropractor that helps with a lot of my nerve related pain so you might see if there is anyone around you that can do that kind of work as they are hard to find.

I used to take oral clindamycin, 150mg a couple times a day and that took the fibro pain to zero! It stopped working after 5 years and now turmeric majorly reduces muscle and joint pain.

Took Flexeril for a long time, but at night only. Bonus that it also helps you sleep.
During the day, ibuprofen.
