A study came out saying that abx were more effective when used with silver. Has anyone found this to be the case? How are you taking your silver?

I would certainly think this is the case since silver hits foundational pathogens such as protozoa/parasites, making it easier for the body to actively engage the symbiotic ones.
Judging from my own experience, I would think a person would have to be careful to have strong supportive antimicrobials on board in case the load of symbiotic pathogens is high.
If there is not sufficient back up, one could get very debilitated when the other bugs are released (similar to breaking up biofilm).
CD, please post a link, or the study.

I did a long thread quite some time ago, based upon a local ladies experience with silver. She had used it years ago & claimed to cure her Lyme.
So I tried it & I sure as heck herxed on just 1/2 teaspoon on the very first try. For the next few days I herxed less, even with 1 entire teaspoon. I took even more for 6 months. And yes I took it with many ABX & herbs simultaneously.
On average 1 teaspoon 2x day for those 6 months & at the end nothing really changed. I have not taken it for a while & I wonder if I will herx on it again?
At the end, I can only say that it did not seem to cause any reactions or additional symptoms, but then again it did not solve anything & FOR ME it was not worth it.
It may work for someone else who has a different bacteria or pathogen that colloidial works better on?

Well, that certainly mirrors my experience w silver. it cured my cat's eye infection and a fungal infection - anything topical no problem - but didn't seem to be getting systemic and where it needed to be.

I had some success with it. I took it at my sickest with Mepron and zithromax and artemisinin. I would take it about 4 times a week for about 6 months. I felt a difference, it would break my fevers, otherwise they would continue. I would take about .5 to 1 teaspoon two times a day.
