I have neuropathy of me hands and feet. About a year ago I had and emg nerve test of the peripheral nerves. It came back with damage to the myline sheath and some axonal damage. I was then diagnosed with autoimmune disease which led to a diagnosis of cidp (chronic inflammatory demylinating polyneuropathy). That led me back to my lmd from 10 years ago. I now have confirmed dx of lyme and bartonella. She believes the autoimmune is from the lyme and bart and we need to treat it all at once.
