Has anyone switched from the capsules from to the liquid and was there any difference? I've been only taking one capsule a day for several years due to price. dr recommended capsules I think due to alcohol in the liquid. I read where capsules are more for maintainance and liquid for attacking lyme. Is this true? Thanks.

I don't know, patty. I think at one capsule a day you won't see any results that amount to anything. Maybe it will help keep it at bay?

Never took it as a sole treatment - I've taken herbal tinctures that included it.

My suspicion is that it would be better to be taking it in conjunction with other synergistic herbals (our LLMD uses Beyond Balance products).

In addition, I also suspect that by using the tinctures that there can be more customized dosage. This was especially helpful for my family when ramping up to a strong dose without overwhelming us with too fast, too soon.

for me, the powder worked better than samento. And I also took very little amounts as I didn't feel good if I increased. Buhner said that quantity may vary from person to person.

Only once, samento worked better, but for a shorter time. I guess it was aiming other bacteria too? You could just try. I always liked full herb instead, but there are people who prefer samento.
