There's a mold guy in Houston who uses ozone to treat the air in the home (basically runs the ozone through the A/C in the house for a few hours).

I know I can't be in the house/room during the treatment.m, but how safe is this procedure in the longterm. Could it have adverse effects on my health?

I know a lot about this but there are many variables. I had to study it a lot. I have a construction grade ozone generator and book says it can kill people, pets, plants

Less of it can give you serious respiratoy problems

That said i follow instructions and regularly do my house and cars

Some machines say you can be in the room when machine is on. My understanding is these machines only get rid of smell not microbes so probem keeps coming back

If you donot remove all visable mold and repair leaks and keep humidity below 45 the mold will come back

My best use of ozone is after remediation and then on a regular basis with hepa vac and filter after as well as wipe down

Ozone makes spores heavy and they drop down. So wipingvup gets a lot. They dontvdie tho and there are always more spores anyway so you must do thisreguarly or as soon as conditions are right for mold(humidity above 50) it will start growing again
