Hi all! I've really begun struggling with new symptoms in the past week.

Suddenly I have head pressure and the feeling that I am chronically fighting off vertigo and dizziness along with intense panic attacks that last for hours.

Has anyone else had this experience?

I feel so lost right now with this. I can't seem to keep anything straight, i'm frustrated instantly and I want to sleep all the time.

I just want to feel "okay" for christmas for my kids. Not struggling like this.

I started morgidox 2 weeks ago and thinking that was a possibility that brought this out, I stopped taking it 4 days ago.

The only thing is now the feelings aren't going away.

Please let me know if any of you have gone through this. I'm starting to feel like I've finally gone off the deep end and I just want to cry all the time!

Sorry for the sad post, I'm just lost.

I just googled for the side effects of the drug and it lists dizziness and tiredness, says to stop taking it and contact your doctor.

Thank you so much! I've had chronic back and neck pain where my neck muscles will just about lock up on me. But no doctor pays much attention to those complaints.

Thank you for giving me something that could be contributing.

Ha! When I looked up the side effects of the drug, I erased my first comment about getting your neck checked out by a chiropractor!

Now I'm laughing, reading your response here! Maybe I've got a double bingo with you!

Ok, let's take this in order again. I think it could be the drug you're reacting to if you're saying you've been taking it recently and now you're feeling like this.

2nd, to put back in what I said first, so as not to confuse people here - ! - I said that when my top vertebra is subluxated - ie C1, I get dizzy. This can happen with tight neck muscles, or a sudden bump, whatever. A good chiropractor can check that possibility out.

There - complete! Hope you will feel better soon!

I spent a few days in the hospital for severe vertigo back in April. Haven't been right since.

But since starting this drug, it's like my body has gone haywire completely! But specifically my head and nervous system.

Not the usual herx reactions I've encountered before.

But you did hit the nail on the head with the chiropractor. I sleep on a heating pad at 37 years old. Not normal! lol

Yep - it's amazing what a good chiropractor can do for us! I'm living proof of that!

Panic attacks/anxiety...you could try 200mg of L-theanine (chewable tablets).

L-theanine is a non protein amino acid that is in green tea (in much smaller amts.).

This one:

C1 adjustments...need a VERY good chiropractor!

Maybe look in to dropping all carbs and fiber for a while. Carbs and fiber could potentially feed pathogenic gut flora. When this happens all kinds of toxins enter your system, a lot of them responsible for things like depression, anxiety, panic attacks, dizziness etc.

For a better understanding look at the GAPS diet.
Not feeding the bad flora, reducing toxicity in the body and establishing good flora can be a solution. The ultimate goal is to get rid of the toxicity, and binders can be of great aid here.

Google "histamine intolerance" and see if that rings any bells with you. I've gotten panic attacks, palpitations, and dizziness when I've had the combination of stress and high histamine food. Finding out about histamine intolerance was a game changer for me.

Some meds can cause histamine levels to go up, but if your body can't process histamine, those levels won't go back down easily as long as you're consuming high histamine foods.

Just one thing to look at .... read the thread and see which suggestions resonate with you. [Smile]

All of the symptoms you mentioned are listed in Dr. S's checklist for Lyme symptoms. It might be possible that the abx you were taking made your Borrelia symptoms worse.

Sorry - I typed nuchal rigidity and the system self corrected it to "uncalled". I saw it in Burrascano's list of Lyme symptoms. It may also be a symptom of a coinfections - I don't know or it may be something else. You might want to look it up in one of the symptom lists.
