I have felt terrible, weak and chest pain-racing heart with any activity . I stopped treating for a long time.

Two doses of clindamycin and I felt soo much better. i was able to go up and down the stairs and almost felt back to my normal.

Now after three doses I feel herxy(which i expected) but also some chest pain worsening.

Should i assume that since the clindamycin initially gave me much relief that the chest pain (not as bad as before) is just herx related?

Perhaps lyme got to the point of infecting the heart.

I do have a stress echo scheduled for next week too though.

This has to be scary for you. So sorry you are going thru it.

I can say that heart racing and weird stuff can happen while herxing. But, I also must say it should be checked out anyway (as you are doing).

You may need to slow down the antibiotic doses to not put so much stress on the heart? I read somewhere recently that heart patients were treated for a long time, but SLOWLY.

Please lettuce no how the results turn out for you. OK?

Thanks tincup, I have never been so scared in the duration of lyme.

i hope the ecg has answers.

i have looked up pots and wonder if it could be that...
