I have never tested positive for Babesia but it was assumed I had

it and I did some treatments with mepron/artemisinin over a year

ago. So my current ND decided to put me on a parasite protocol

again. I started just artemisinin yesterday and took 1 tab in the

morning and 1 at dinner( the dosing suggested 3 & 3) but I

started "slow". By last night I had one of my neurologic

eye attacks (which had become pretty infrequent though I was

having low level eye symptoms regularly).

When I woke up

my whole eye was bright red, swollen, droopy lid, painful and the

nerves are still firing (like Im getting tiny pinpricks in my eyeball!)

This is the worst eye reaction I have ever had! Its my first really

obvious outward herx where someone can see the inflammation

vs me just feeling everything internally...I'm headed to the

neuro-opthamologist tomorrow to get it checked. Anyone ever

had a eye herx like this?

Guess I have Babesia despite bloodwork or some other parasite..

I had stabbing pains in the eyes but an opthamologist said it was just dry eye - in my case.
