Hi All: I searched for answers on the board
and could not find them. Does anyone have
experience with Coptis, HH and Crypto and dosing.
The Zhang Coptis and HH say to take without food
15-30 minutes before a meal. Can these things be
taken with food? They are hurting my stomach.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you....
PS CryptoPlus says to take it after a small snack- that is hard to time with everything else but it looks as if I have no choice. Thank you .... thank you....

- Hepapro has always been fabulous about answering any questions. There's still almost an hour today they'll be open. It's best to ask them.
I did not include Cryptolepis with that protocol (did take it another time, though) so I can't say about that.
Just let them know it's an alcohol tincture. It could be the alcohol that is hurting your stomach or the Cryptolepis, itself can be a little strong if using too little water as you mix it.
Yes, though, I think you could certainly take with food for a time until you talk to them. Coptis is a "cold" herb and could be little hard to digest without food soon enough - but I think there other herbs in there to balance.
Whatever the reason, some other way needs to be found. Hepapro would be able to shed more light on your options for dosing. -

Hey Keebler and anyone else that may have this.
Hepapro is a wonderful resource and they are
very kind.
They think it is the HH doing what it supposed to
do and the gastritis should be done in a week or
so. They learned this from other clients.
I told them I could give it some time and then
add food if need be. I don't want to give up
a good remedy if I don't have to.
Thank you again for the great help.....
