My son who has brucellosis was just put on doxy-bactrim-Rifampin and is having major neurological herx. I think he has one of the methylation gene problems. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi jcarlnew- I am sorry to hear your son is

herxing. I don't know his age or how he is

showing his neuro herx but here are some things

listed below and you can sort out for his age

what to do:

A coffee enema could help a lot. Also, an Epson

salt bath. Lemon water to alkalize.

Alka seltzer Gold. Glutathione precursors.

Oral drinkable Aloe vera. Nettle. Quercetin.

Sauna. Byron White A-Inflam, Byron White NT-Detox.

Hopefully, you might have some of these things on

hand.

There are other things but I don't know how his

symptoms are showing themselves. I hope he feels

well soon.

If the herx is too strong, maybe it's too much meds for him at this point.

He could do the 23andme genetic bloodtest to find out what his methylation enzyme defects are, then a knowledgeable doctor knows how to help boost the missing cycles.

My daughter was just 2 when she first caught lyme. Then she caught it again, and again, new tick bites, relapses.

She needed constantly binders like chlorella, bear garlic tincture, omega 3 through flaxseed oil, and lots of acupressure.

No binders = life as hell, for children specially (too much pain from herxes, then anxiety, lack of sleep, digestive problems, neuro problems...).

Sorry to hear about that. I find it crazy that doctors give children killers but do not care for giving them proper binders.

for my daughter, she needed support every 3 hours, whole day, and even sometimes at night.

If we did give her enough binders, she would feel almost okay. No binders, was like no life possible.
