Has anyone heard about treatment for lyme using Argentyn

23-Silver Hydrosol thru picc line? The treatment is 4

days/wk for one month, dose increasing every few days?

Cost is $5000/1 month!!! And have you also heard of

Ultraviolet light treatment 2-3/week thru peripheral IV, each

treatment lasts an hr and is $240 each, with 30 treatments

recommended ($7200)?? Does any of this REALLY work on

killing Lyme or is this a money maker? Let me know, this is

being offered by TN doc. I'm very worried that this is a rip off and has no science behind it as working..

Wow, that's a lot of money. I've heard of success with oral Argentyn 23, I think I would try that first.

I've tried just one drop at a time of Argentyn23 under the tongue, and I can really feel it absorbing big-time.

It is a wonderful attribute to be open minded, to explore all kinds of possibilities and paths.

Partly due to the fact I can't think of the kind of conversational language that would be just right, I'm going just from what I've looked into over the years out of interest. A very strong "interesting proposals" but a "no" just pops out as my first instinct for all your questions.

First of all, while I don't think those are the right treatments for many reasons, the course of those treatments is not long enough. Not by a long shot. And it's always going to take a comprehensive approach, never just one thing.

I would suggest, instead, looking at RIFE and support methods with key nutrients.

And, if you have the money, a good quality (not plastic or vinyl, though as they can be toxic just in the materials that off-gas) Infrared Low Heat Sauna for support to help the body's circulation to enhance your ability to metabolize waste. I just don't like the term "detox" though.

An infrared sauna not for the primary purpose but for good support. Or - weekly massage if at all possible.

I've known some who did two long rounds of the Ultraviolet light tx and still never saw much impromvt afterward. Initially, better but that did not last.

Cleaning the blood won't work to eradiate lyme as lyme can hide deep in body tissue and won't come out all in the bloodstream for the treatment.

When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods, because lyme is so very complex & unique, as are possible coinfections:

if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL ND (lyme literate naturopathic doctor) (or similar) who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -

- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present, and has completed the ILADS Physician Training Program (see: www.ilads.org )

so they really know all they can about the science of lyme . . . how lyme (& other TBD) act and what we can do about that in various ways. Proper ASSESSMENT of not just lyme but coinfectoins is vital. Someone trained by ILADS is best to assess.

Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.

When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.

For those considering complementary support methods / or other avenues entirely:

How to find an ILADS-educated LL:

N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor);

L.Ac. (Acupuncturist);

D.Ay. (Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine);

D.O.M. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine);

Herbal Safety considerations & reference books; etc.

BOOKS - Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:

knowing which methods offer assertive & direct impact, which are only support and which are both. And when to use what, how to combine, & when to step back.

You can compare and contrast many approaches with links to articles, books, methods . . .

BODY WORK methods / links (and why anyone who works on your spine MUST be LL to the degree they at least know to never suddenly twist neck or spine. Never. Ever - not if there is inflammation in the spine with active infection. And that we should never be advised to do neck / head / shoulder stands.)

Links here to two major sources: Buhner, & Zhang. Be sure to get their books.
