I am so very disappointed. well it's my fault really.

I made it through the nuclear test, which was treadmill by the way.

cardio visit was embarrassing. all tests so far have been normal except for that .5 depression on the ekg.

problem with nuclear...the machine could not read through my breast tissue. bottom line, I'm too fat...a size 44 ddd.

he said because the test was inconclusive the next step is a 64 scan nuclear angiogram. he does not want to do the test where they go through the groin. its very expensive, highly invasive and dangerous.

this angiogram is another iv test scan basically.

I'm bummed out. he said diet, exercise and do test. then if its a no-go, drop it. no use in continually testing.

he did change my bp medicine. I'm on topronol and a water pill and diovan. drop the nadolol.

I joined our senior citizen center. they have a ton of exercise equipment. also I'm going to do weight watchers. jenny craig is jus outrageously expensive.

so wake up time.

oh, husband went to dr. he wants to put off prostate surgery until january. I think the dr was disappointed. he said a stage 3 can change quickly.

hey, his decision. he said he's got three trips planned and things to do.

you can lead a horse to water but you dang well can't make em drink.

I'm not going to worry. we're doing ok, wills and all. I know it's mercenary but sometimes you have to plan for yourself.

Sorry to hear of the complication, randi. At least it was a bit of a wake up call. We all get them, don't we?

My sister in law does weight watchers every time she wants to lose weight. Hope it goes well for you. I think the support group is really helpful.

Let hubby do what he wants. I wouldn't be rushing to prostate surgery if I were a man. Doesn't sound like fun to me. Either way, it's a difficult thing when cancer shows up.

randi, well Thank God my cardio did do the invasive test. They did see something suspicious during all the previous test.

He went up thru my groin to my heart and he said well look at this. I had 100% blockage of right coronary artery.

My blessing was my body built a bypass around that blockage. He told me it had been there for years.

No wonder for so many years I felt like death. My body was busy saving me from heart death.

So do the next test soon randi and find the complete results. It is quite frequent that Lyme patients have blockages in the heart.

Don't beat yourself up about your size. Lift yourself up so you can help you.

Wow...when was that, map?

I've had that lovely test too. My cardiologist leaves no stone unturned. He wanted to make sure my A-fib was not caused by a blockage.

My best friend here had the same test last year. Now they go through your arm instead of the groin. That actually sounds worse to me.... esp since my arms are not that large. OUCH.

The best thing about exercise is that it helps your body build those extra arteries around the blockage. That's what they told us at cardiac rehab.

So .. keep walking, randi .. Within reason.

Tutu, 5 years ago. The cardio told me the options, take meds or put a stent in. He said my odds of having a major heart attack with stent just raised.

As I laid on that table and fell apart, he told the nurse to go get my husband. He showed him what he found and told him the options.

My husband finally said ok it's your wife laying on this table, what would you do for your wife?

My doc said meds to see how she does. I've done great on meds.

I'm truly blessed.
