Over the past three months I have been having burning, watery eyes and post nasal drip. Recently, that has changed to major frontal sinus pain.
I can barely think or function.
Allergy blood tests came back negative!
Sinus CT shows only slight "mucosal thickening". Dr says not an issue.
I am also experiencing a symptomatic flareup: sore joints, weak urine stream, generally "inflamed".
I think this is related to my Lyme. I had similar experience 10 years ago, early in treatment, and getting off of dairy and gluten solved it. I am still off of them.
What do you know about sinus and Lyme? I am looking for anything and everything I can do.
Thank You.

I just finished taking Mupirocin for almost 3 weeks. As usual, the antibiotic failed to do anything long-term and my symptoms are back. Using the ointment wiped me out. I'm convince this is lyme related. I've had sinus issues for some time but I think another unpleasant germ was inserted with the infection. Sheer speculation.
Recently I found lactobacto.com. The entire family used probiotic Lactobacillus sakei to rid themselves of the sinus problems. Looks like it works for a lot of others also. I ordered some on Amazon but just started the protocol today so no comments about efficacy yet.

If you're up for trying an experiment, I watched a wholistic health professional tape two small 10-gauss strength magnets over his eyebrow areas - ie one about a half-inch up over each eyebrow - and his sinuses cleared up! These little magnets can be ordered online.
Something that happened for me - when I first started drinking mangosteen juice, my sinuses ran for 48 hours and I didn't even know I had any sinus issues! The juice is anti-inflammatory.
