Question for everyone who’s tried the Cowden protocol...
Have you ever taken a break like normal antibiotics? I’ve fonished the 9 months. Am making progress but not totally in remission yet. So have to start back at month 7 per Dr Cowden...but I need a break! I’m going to ask my doc before I do it but I’m just curious if anyone has done it that way! Thanks!

I didn't really understand your question.

A break from antibiotics or a break from Cowden??

Do not stop Cowden unless you are going to start a different treatment. I took a break for 15 days and boy did I pay for it. Contact Gregg Kirk at Ticked Off Foundation. He is CEO of this non-profit and was cured of lyme by Cowden. He helps people on Cowden Protocol. Better Health to you.

Yes. I meant a break from Cowden. I’m so tired after 9 months! I will definitely try to reach out to that person though. What is the best way? Facebook? Thanks!

If money is a problem, I would no doubt shift to Buhner and add Chinese herbs, much more inexpensive than Cowden...

Then take some binders / cleaning substances together with Buhner.

Take a look also at dr. Rawls (I hope the spelling is right...). He uses combination of herbs that I think are cheaper than Cowden (and still good).

I’ve also tried Buhner in the beginning. Had BAD reactions to a couple of the herbs but don’t remember which ones. At any rate the ones I could continue didn’t help much.

I don’t LIKE spending the money but I don’t have insurance so honestly it’s cheaper than a lot of the heavy duty antibiotics so I’m ok in that aspect. I’m just TIRED! I just need a break!

Bad reactions were allergies or herxes?
