Hi, I am new to using the Doug coil. I did email the guy I bought it from this question but haven't received a response.

Are you supposed to physically touch the coil while using it? I read some people will put a towel on them because it does get hot. Then I read someone who said they sit about 30 cm away from the machine.

Has anyone used methyelene blue and/or herbs while rifing? I don't want to put anything into cyst form. The guy I bought it from said not to even take vitamin C because it will put it into cyst form.

Lastly, has anyone used their Doug Coil machine for mold? If so, do you have frequencies? My daughter and I tested positive for all 5 types of mold using Real Time labs.

Thank you so much!!!

Hi Ocean,

Yes, you are supposed to put the coil on the body. Use a towel for both heat and so that the wire doesn't get frayed over time from clothing, zippers, buttons.

When I first started coiling I had the same questions, and the guy who built my machine -- long since retired -- told me to put the coil directly on the gut, chest, head, etc.

Also, I spoke several times with Doug McClean (sp?), who designed and built the first Doug coil machine, and he said the same -- direct contact. Always!

Doug told me that a guy (who used to post here) wrote a Rife book that said to keep the coil away from the body, a foot or so, but he said he had no idea where that book-writer got that info as he, Doug, had told the book-writer, and everyone else, to put the coil right on the body.

I used all the freqs listed for mold and fungal stuff, mostly they are the original Rife freq numbers like 20, 727, 660, 880, 1550, etc. But none of them seemed to do much. If you find any that help or deliver some magic, please share with the rest of us.

Good luck. I hope the coil gives you some relief.

I used my coil machine for over ten years daily, often for hours and hours.

Put the coil on your front for systemic treatment, by the heart and the gut both. I will use 3 frequencies and then let it cool off if I want to do more, but I'm sure using a towel is fine.

I joined The Rife Forum, and use the search option to look up symptoms or diagnoses.I tried frequencies that have helped others and stuck with the ones that I could tell helped me.

There are ways to target the cyst form. Search here for help in that. Tinidazole helped me.

Also, search on the rife forum, because there are frequencies that target the cyst form. If you have LD, you will get cyst forms, so I don't see the benefit to trying to avoid it.

Rifing has been an important treatment for me. I now rife about once a week for maintenance.

I hope you have success.
