Does anyone know if a herx can cause an irregular heart beat(with shortness of breath) that lasts for about 20 hrs? I'm not sure if this would be from the Lyme itself or a herx.

I had some tests done but all results are pending. Just curious if anyone has experienced this.

Yes, it can. I went into a-fib for 10+ hours on two occasions. Thankfully since then I take atenolol. When I herx I can feel it try and go off again, but the low dose of Atenolol stops it from going out of rythm.

I first began having tachycardia and palps when I was herxing on babesiosis meds. I still have to take atenolol, or my heart races and I also get heart palps.

get checked for lyme induced Neurally mediated hypotension, it can cause the tachycardia and shortness of breath you are describing. I have links on my site all about it.
