Well, I'm still in shock over my test results!!! My 3 year old was infected over the summer and I finally got myself checked out because I was afraid I was having some weird symptoms...

I already spoke with Dr. J because he is treating my 3 year old and I was worried because I've been breastfeeding my 11 mos old.

I also made an appt with an LLMD here, but ofcourse that won't be until mid-April. Hopefully, I'll atleast get to speak with him before then.

Anyone with similiar results? I know everyone reacts differently, but I guess I'm just wondering what other's experiences have been.

Dr. J did go over the results with me and recommended testing for co-infections and a HLADR4DR2D27 because of the 31 and 34 bands.

IgG IgM
18 - 18 ++
22 - 22 -
23-25 - 23-25 +
28 - 28 ++
30 +/- 30 ++
31 - 31 +++
34 - 34 ++
37 - 37 -
39 +/- 39 +
41 +/- 41 +
45 - 45 +
58 +/- 58 ++
66 +/- 66 ++
73 - 73 -
83 - 83 -
93 - 93 +

My husband is going to get tested as well and Dr. J is send a urinetest kit for the baby.

I think I will freak out if we all have it!

Aaaaghhhh!!!

Well, no doubt about that test! I hope it means your immune system is doing well. Some people get negative test results because their immune systems can't register an antibody response.

Yours is doing well, or so it seems. I'd make sure to be tested for co-infections as well!

Hang in there, OK?!

dp, welcome to our lyme world unfortunately. Wow, 11 positives for IGM from what I counted.

my LLMD said 2+ count as 1; 3 as 2; 4 as 3...

Since you have breast fed, please talk to the dr. about your baby perhaps having congenital lyme. Those Mothers on board can address that to you from their experience.

Best wishes! Betty G.
