Hi zip-

I am scheduled for my first bicillin injection today at 4:10. Twice a week for me to start.

Did it hurt much-and more important did you herx much.

You can tell white lies.

zip, hard to say since I started mepron/zith/art just shortly after starting the bicillin. On the bicillin/babs tx combo, I started seeing clear improvements after about 4 months. But it was still a lot of bad days/better days for a while after that.

Zip, what happened to the IVIg you were so "garrulous" about?

How did it work out? I assume it wasn't the panacea?

thanks for replies.

re : ivig, it has been very helpful for getting rid of a lot on nueropathy. but hasn't done as much as i would like constitutionally, yet... anyhow...

i have more testing coming up so we will see if my levels start to climb. definitely not a panacea. wish it was.

i'm male, so if your theory is as such i should see good bicillin results.

i just finished 4 months of mepron/art and biaxin and just short of 3 months of another round of rocephin - which induced some killer herxing, but also some lively spots of energy in between.

now heavy bicillin and dr doubled my biaxin dosage to 2gms a day. i'm overdosing on abx apparently.

janet - the shots hurst sooooo much less than i anticipated. b12 shots sting more. the bruising is interior (no black and blue) and subsides in about 2 days.

happy 4th y'all....

About the 4th month I saw marked improvement and less severe herxes from Bicillin 2.4 once a week.
