Has anyone ever done chelation therapy? If so, does anyone know a doctor in the northern VA area who does it? If so, please PM me. I am going to do some research on it, but it sounds interesting.

Also, has anyone been tested for heavy metals? What ones should I be tested for? I feel like that is something traditional docs may not test for...would I need to go to an alternative medicine doc?

Vachick, everyone of my posts leads you onto the subject of getting rid of heavy metals, the problems they create if not dealt with, and the problems encountered when doing it the wrong way.

Please read some of my posts. It will give you some answers I am sure. I have been posting here since the year 2000 and though it may be tiring many, it has become more and more clear over the years that a heavy metal toxic body cannot get rid of Lyme and all the other infections and microorganism invasions that we face. Same goes for chemical toxicity. You are on the right track -- so keep going.

Take care.

Most regular physicians if they believe in mercury or heavy metal toxicity will go for the testing. But often that challenge test is inconclusive and does not give you the true answer, especially if your minerals are out of balance and other problems exist that stops your system from releasing the metals. Look up NIHADC.com, Dr. G./MD is good and knows Lyme etc.

Try the "detox foot pads" that are available on Ebay. Buy 10 for about $10 and see if they work. They are available OTC, are cheap, and really work!
