Quick question. Can I take my supplements with
or around the same time as antibiotics.(forgot
to ask llmd) and Nystatin

With the exception of the probiotics which I understand should be 3hrs from any antibiotic.

When you are taking alot of antibiotics how do
you stay on a schedule? set the clock and have them by the bed? I could not even move until 11 this morning, already they are knocking me off my
feet.

All minerals should be taken 2 hours away from antibiotics. They bind with the abx and reduce their effectiveness. You can take them with your probiotics.

Good idea to keep the abx by your bed. But be aware that many abx need to be taking with food or you will feel sick. So you might also keep food by your bed.

Aniek, Did not even think about the minerals
Thanks. Does this mean that Its ok to take
vitamins like multi-B, A, C with the antibiotic?

LymeToo are you around to answer the nystatin
question. Can I take vitamins or herbs around
the same time?

Also My LLMD prescribed the liquid is this the
best way to use nystatin?

I thought vitamins were ok with abx. But I thought somebody posted recently not to take Vit C with abx.

Maybe call and ask your pharmacist? They usually know the mineral issue.

No Vit C? I take alot of this supplement, must
investigate.

When I was on Prevpac for H. Pylori Doc said
no vitamins at all. Now I see that there was a study with Vit C and E and they found that it
reduced the effectiveness of the treatment.
Which for me was biaxin, amoxicillin and prevacid.
