I would really appreciate any feedback on the meaning of my Igenex results. I am especially interested in whether these results, in your opinion, suggest anything specific about my level or stage of infection and how I should treat it.
This is my first Igenex blood test. I earlier had a negative urine PCR from Igenex (post-abx), and two negative (pre-abx) and one positive (post- some abx and herxing on doxy) blood tests from MDL.
The following results were obtained after 2.5 years of significant oral and IV abx treatment, followed by 1.5 years of various naturopathic treatments and amalgam removal, and then no treatment for about six months:
I'm currently treating parasites, and next I believe my LLMD will re-tackle what she and my naturopath feel is a persistent strep problem. Then we'll go after lyme again.
BTW, I tested negative for babesia, erlichiosis, and bartonella on this Igenex test (though I don't think that leads my LLMD to count them out).
Thanks so much for reading and any comments!

I would be concerned with that 31 band. I notice it appears in your IgM, or 'current infection' indicator.
A strong 31 band is associated with later stage lyme. I wish I had the citations for that (I swear they're out there).
I would definitely be treating with antibiotics, even though I know you said "no treatment for six months" and may not be wanting to do it again.
I'm assuming that you are still symptomatic, of course.
Wishing you well,
Michelle

Ditto with MichelleM> My band 31 had 3 Plus's and a LLMD once said that there is a zero chance I couldn't have lyme with band 31 lighting up that much.
IND means there's something there but not sure. Just my opinion but if you didn't have lyme nothing would register. Here's a link:

Thank you! That link is indeed very helpful. I had tried looking for answer with the search function, but am in a particularly bad period of lyme (and/or parasite) brain.
