Jugend, I don't know why, it baffles me but there is something to this treatment. I have done 11 treatments (I am listening to one of the treatments right now). If you go to http://www.lymebytes.blogspot.com/

She does it as well and talks about it on her blog. For me, it gets at the a lot of the emotional aspect of recovery. That seems to be one of my biggest blocks. I don't think this treatment is for everyone. I think you need to check it out and see if it feels right.

I like the individual sessions I have had with Gary ALOT! He cares deeply about helping people heal. The first two sessions I herxed like crazy but manageably so. Since then, a lot of emotional stuff has come up and he is working on that for me.

I believe you can try it for three sessions and if it doesn't feel right, they refund your money. Gary's strength is in muscle testing -- he is an intuitive, really, although I don't think he would say that. He is helping some VERY sick people in my group - people who have been confined to a couch for years.

Please don't let the way I have described it discourage you. If you are a more traditionally minded person, it could still work for you. A lot of folks working with him are. My best, wenan

I know of people that benefitted from the program and was going to do it myself but they only offered sessions during the workday.

There is a lively ongoing discussion of it on the Lymetopics Yahoo group. It sounds like several people are herxing, several people are getting good results.

I have no personal experience with it, just have been reading Lymetopics.

Jill, I couldnt find the discussion group - have you got the address? [confused] Thank you!

Wenan, what about people who live far away and cant do the individual sessions? What is your opinion of the phone conferences? Are they less effective?

It seems that people need to take several sessions - do you have any idea how many approximately? Its quite expensive if one has to take a session/week for a long time. Is it possible to do the program, after the first sessions, without paid sessions?

jugend, I have never actually seen Gary but I plan to in two weeks travel to his office. Individual sessions are best for me right now, although with the more difficult lyme cases you can get more out of the groups.

My issues are complicated by a lot of other stuff that can be addressed by individual. He will do both with you however. It is not something that you can do on your own at home. I think he says the average number of sessions is 10 but if you have a trauma history complicating things it will be longer.

Call the office and they will send you a DVD and CD explaining everything. Good luck.

Jugend,

I think this is the address. If it doesn't work, go to the overall http://health.groups.yahoo.com and search for Lymetopics - Lymetopics is all one word.

I did 14 sessions of IRT with minimal results. I have tried working with Gary individually and he will not muscle test me (He is not as intuitive as he said he was), but said to find a machine that would locate problems in the body, so he could help me.

Maybe I am one of the few that IRT doesn't work for, but I am not impressed. Hiker
