Hubby got his Picc Line in today. All went well. Will start antibiotics on Monday.
Actually went to a doctor here in Tennessee, who treats Lyme. He did a lot of talking along the lines of Dr. C. He's going to work with Dr. C!!
Wish us luck!!

Can you PM me this docs info? I know we were talking about 2 docs here in TN. I'm planning on seeing Dr. L. this Monday. Though, you mentioned a "he", and Dr. L. is a woman. So, I figured your husband went somewhere else.
Thanks

The very very best of luck - I have done wonders since being on IV.
All a little bit scary for hubby at the moment and I feel for where he is rigt now. But soon he will be in the swing of things.

Thanks to all. Frankly, I am terrified at the moment. All looks okay with the line, but it's all rather intimidating and nervewracking for me.
Who knew two years ago that I'd be injecting a saline flush and Hep thru a Picc Line? It freaks me out to think about it too much.
The line looks fine as far as I can tell. Kit, are you nervous about your line? I'm scared to death of not doing something right, or infection. Are you using a home health nurse?
How are you feeling after your first few does of ABX? I will be sending prayers your way.
I just pray this helps my hubby. I'm also scared we're putting his body through this..and what if it doesn't help his neuro symptoms?
Yes, I'm scared right now, and second guessing everything.
Thanks all. Hugs to each of you.

Thanks for the IM's, guys. It helped me a bunch.
Hate sounding like a high strung maniac, lol.
Feeling better about things today. Handling the Picc Line just fine so far. Another successful shower with saran wrap. WOOHOO!

Just updating y'all. We're managing the IV just fine. It's "old hat" now......lol.
Went back to the LLMD this last week. He wants to boost up Hubby's hormones. The tests showed hubby was way out of whack.
He also said increase the Armour, which I've been hesitant to do. With hubby starting the IV, I didn't want to do too much.
Gosh, it's hard to know what to do sometimes.
Anyway, after LLMD visit, we are feeling a bit encouraged.
Thanks again for all the input on this site.
