hi gang,

what do y'all think. lately i've been tired, tired and forgeting some basic words like flurescent (sp?) and mime. been going on for a couple weeks now. made an appointment for the soonest time with my doctor. not until Sept. meanwhile, i guess i'm going to go sooner and see a p.a. not so much in favor of this.

tired and forgetful were my main stx before and when i did a search on my last relapse, it was sept 06, not that long ago. please tell me it's not so, no, please tell me what you think.

i work at a school and so september and may are the craziest times. lots of stress here.

take acidopholus like it's going out of style???

be very strick about yeast free diet?

general purpose multi-vitamins?

Hi Hopeful,

Sorry you are in the midst of a relapse. It can be so depressing. Maybe it is stress but I'm glad you have made an appointment.

Do you have any old meds around you can test the waters with and see if you herx?

Good luck

Acorn

I see you're in NY ... I know my doctor in NY (Dr. H) doesn't have any appts. till Sept. ... if he's your doctor, I just want to say, don't worry about seeing a nurse practitioner ... they're wonderful and experienced! Don't think you're getting second rate care from them.

Sorry you're relapsing. It sounds like it may be a problem, but at least you're catching it early. Maybe it won't be as bad this time!

I have noticed that, even when we're in remission, we should probably take it easy on the stress.

I hope your body will rally shortly.

I am sorry things arent going well lately.

In my expereince as a lyme patient, stress is just awful for this disease.

I am glad that you going to get care.

I hope you start feeling better soon.

hi

thanks for writing and the support. i must be relapsing because based on the hours of sleep last night, i should feel better than this~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [puke]

what's so discouraging is that my last relapse was in sept 06 . i took meds for a few months and then stopped. it's only may, for God's sake.

i frankly don't know what's worse the tired or the dumb. i can search around for some old but it scares me a little.

my busiest time at work is through september.
oy.

good news. got permission to go visit the first grandson due in early august. it took weeks to find out which added to my stress. long, complicated story there. faith? not so much.

i had to climb under my desk at work to install a new keyboard. found my little pewter stone with the words faith inscribed on the top. i found it!

you guys are great for your support.

still mad and sad and frustrated with lyme and how much it alters all of our lives. [rant]

hopeful123,

Have you treated coinfections successfully? Remember, negative test results are not reliable.
