Abortion - I know many of you probably are very much against it, as am I, but my LLMD highly recommended I terminate since I just started treatment not so long ago and am extremely sick right now. I doubt i would survive a pregnancy as well at this time. So off I go tomorrow to the hospital for surgery and pray Ill wakeup from it

I am sorry to hear of your situation. I hope everything goes as well as it can.
We all make the best choices we can concerning the situation and our abilities. It takes honesty and courage to handle all that is dealt in health struggles.
May your health get stronger, steadier in the coming months and years so that you may enjoy all the fine joys that life will offer you.
Don't panic! All the stress from, well, stressing can cause major symptom flaring right when you don't want it to happen. I know it's hard, but try to keep calm. My thoughts are with you. Take good care of yourself physically and emotionally.
One thing that helps me a lot during any kind of trauma is Bach's Rescue Remedy. It's homeopathic so it won't interfere with any meds, and it can really help before, during, or after surgery.
Sending you lots of well-wishes and good energy,
Alison

trish best wishes to you!
make sure you give them your accurate weight and they can adjust the anesthetics accordingly!
I've probably had 25-35 anethetics over the years of my 13-14 surgeries and all the other stuff: colonoscopys, mris, etc.
only ONE did i get sick and had ot hang onto the walls!
you are going to do just fine, and we've been talking by pm about this also; so i understand, and so do many on this board who have been pg and so terribly sick.
remember when they put you under, THINK OF THE HAPPIEST TIME/S IN YOUR LIFE AND THAT IS THE LAST GOOD THING YOU'LL THINK ABOUT until you wake up and have that AWFUL DRY MOUTH!
you're going to wake up just fine! if you wear glasses or dentures, ask the RN to put them on you in recovery room.
let us know later how you did, and no sickness afterwards!
May God watch over you and the skillful surgeon's hands..
7 hrs. until you check into hospital or short stay unit.
if you can't sleep, find a humorous video, etc. to take your mind off this ok. i know it's not easy trish.

Hi everyone thanks for all the support! Suprisingly after awaking from the surgery I felt better than I have in months. Possibly it was from the anastethiab but I wokeup wide awake and feeling great!
This morning when i wokeup I was still very fatigued but not as bad as I was before surgery, so Im not sure. Im still gonna be in bed for the next few days besides getting up to eat.
I want to take my medicine but Im scared it will have a bad effect on me. I am so scared of pills that I havent even taken my medicine correctly since beginning treatment. I always seem to think of an exuse - oh well i havent eaten or ijust had surgery or im too tired or im not feeling well and what if the med makes me feel worse. I know I have to stop doing that but its soo hard.
