I hope you do not have C-diff. It is usually brought on by over use of antibiotics. One clue to C-diff is a smell un like anything you have ever smelled before. Sorry to be graphic but the smell is horrific. Hope you get feeling better soon. -------------------- Hope your having a great day! Karol

look for signs of a slight fever, watery stool, maybe white pus or bright blood in stool, the smell is a huge indicator. also, loss of appetite and food may smell bad to you.

yep, lots of antibiotics and no diflucan or anything. i had diahhrea at least 10 times a day and an awful burning sensation in my entire abdominal cavity. i've never had such burning pain. it was watery pus and blood looking. my tests came back negative but my doctor said didn't matter, i had it. he gave me flagyl and it cleared it up within two weeks. oh, i was sick.... -------------------- do not look back when the only course is forward

Well, I've not been on any anti-fungals, actually. I'm going to talk to my LLMD about the possibility of starting one next week...do folks take them prophylactically ? [ 13. June 2008, 11:12 AM: Message edited by: adamm ]
