Barb,
How do you know if you were undertreated if you are not having symptoms? This is only my opinion, but if I felt healthy I would not treat anymore. Your own immune systemm might be handling any germs that were left. Why mess with it?

To me, it depends on the Lyme severity. Mine was diagnosed quickly, and although I've had it a year now, it hasn't been disabling. I tend to feel worse on antibiotics because I have allergies to many of them. I prefer being unmedicated. From December - May I had no antibiotics and I felt fine. Then in May I started having symptoms, so I started antibiotics again.
If I feel good, I'll stop taking the medicine after each full course is done. Then I'll start again when I have symptoms.

He does not complain of anything now.
Should I be worried.
I wouldn't. Just be watchful.
