Hi girls,

I've been having yeast issues. Been alternating Diflucan with Amoxicillin but I'm still having problems.

Can a yeast problem cause my breasts to get temporarily bigger? Shirts are tight across my chest right now, my bras are really uncomfortable...it's noticeable. I think this has been happening on and off for a few months now but I'm just possibly making the connection.

Is this a yeast thing or something else? It's like my chest is "bloated"? [confused]

Thanks,

~webmeg

Yeast never did that to me, but both birth control pills and progesterone cream did. The progesterone cream was especially bad....my boobs were like two, huge, painful balloons.

If you're not taking any hormones that could cause it, maybe your hormone levels need to be checked?

Hope you feel better soon,
klutzo

Thanks, ladies.

I've been on Yasmin for years (probably 5 years now for heavy periods). Never bothered me though.

Perhaps that's the culprit? Just seems weird that I never had this before, but maybe the Lyme it's changing my hormone levels and with the Yasmin it's really messing me up?

I do take Culturelle and some other supplements my LLMD gave me, but I will try the oregano thing, too!

My breasts fluctuate a lot with my menstrual cycle (I am not on birth control or any hormones). They get very noticably larger in the week leading up to my period, and they also get painful. Sometimes I feel like I am carrying around someone's groceries in my chest. They feel swollen and heavy and hurt to the touch. It can start for me at least a week before my period, so just maybe see if there is some sort of pattern you notice.

But they do get bigger to the point that my clothes fit differently. So, it is possible.

Some women will get it mildly, but I feel like my fluctuations go beyond what is normal, and maybe that is because of what Lyme can do to hormones.
