I am hvaing the same problem... although my periods have always been irregular they had actually started to regulate when I gave birth to my daughter...

I am now 3 weeks late for my period and also missed a whole month a few cycles ago. I am also being watched because I have had 3 abnormal pap smears in a row...

I do not know if lyme is the culprit?

Yes Ladies,

Lyme is the culprit!

It especially likes to mess around with women and their hormones....

I'm just glad I only have a Lyme period once a month....(flare up)!

I would've probably cut my wrists a long time ago if I had to put up with what you girls have to endure....

I have always had a 30 day cycle.

After the birth of my son...it changed.

Sometimes 19 days. Sometimes 35.

Weird thing is my cycle came back while breast feeding.

It didn't when I nursed my daughter.

Almost two years in and my cycle is returning to normal.

About every 30 days.

I was going to ask this as well. This is my first month that I have ever experienced irregularity in my whole life. I completely missed my period this month. I had 1/2 day of "spotting" and then nothing else.

This also concerns me very much because I have had 3 pap smears come back abnormal as well. It went from just atypical cells and started escalating. It was strange that it went from bad...to normal last pap smear. The only thing it detected was yeast. I still don't believe that it is really "normal". I wonder if somehow the yeast got in the way or something. I get paps every 3 months and it just seems strange for it to go back to normal that easily.

I have another pap scheduled in October. I will be happy if this one comes back normal as well.

I would be glad to get my period too. I'm such a worrier. Anything set me off and I become overly worried that doctors are missing something serious. I think I probably got that mentality in my quest to find out what is wrong with me when I started having Lyme symptoms.

Everyone kept telling me I was okay or it was just anxiety....and I had this sense of panic and urgency to find out what was really wrong with me.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that's having female issues.

Yes, very. For years, my period stopped completely. I have very high prolactin, which can suppress the period. Now my period is very erratic, no normal timing.
