Hi all,

I am seriously considering doing HBO at this moment. I have spoken with Mitch Hoggard in Chico, and with a local HBO center (I'm in NY) that has treated many Lyme patients, recommended by my LLMD.

My LLMD normally does not use HBO with his patients, but he feels in my case, it might be helpful.

I am concerned about the amount of people saying it does not work, and that "relapse" seems to be an underlying theme in many stories... I have spent so much money already on Lyme treatments, HBO is going to cost about $20,000...I will not hesitate to begin treatment, but I would like to hear some more success stories, other than the same 3 or 4 stories I continue to see posted (I'm glad it worked for you guys, though!)

Also, everyone continues to say a Mono chamber is best. I have grand mal seizures, so I have been told I cannot go in a Mono chamber, because if I was to have a seizure they would not be able to touch me for up to 5 minutes, I could die. I would need to go in a Multi-chamber with a tender. Is this less effective? Why? How?

Anyone else have a positive story to share? I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you [Big Grin]

Hi Myco,

If you are considering HBOT please contact me and I will try and help you as much as I can. I can send you protocols, tell you what to expect and try and find you a HBOT center near you.

As for your grand mal seizures, send me a PM and I will send you some studies on HBOT and seizure disorders. Your case is a bit unique, you will have to find a facility that has experience with lyme and brain injury.

I hope this helps,

Kind Regards,

Julia
