Can someone recommend a good digestive system cleanse? I have suffered from constipation nearly the whole time I have had Lyme. I try to drink a lot of tea and I used to drink psyllium husk shakes, which I think may have helped a little but I need something that'll really clean everything completely out of me so I can start from scratch.
Are there any herbs that are particularly effective at relieving constipation?

My LLMD recommends Senakot. I use the generic variety. Also add colace if you need a softener too. Works well.
I'm sure there are herbs out there too, but I don't know which ones. Chlorella is also a good choice. -------------------- "Few of us can do great things, but all of us can do small things with great love". Mother Theresa http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1629665573&ref=name
