My doc wants me to start these soon. I was wondering if anyone knew how much these cost at Costco out of pocket? Or any other alternatives to get them cheaper.

Thank you
Mandy

That is so unaffordable. Thank you all for giving me warning, I read somewhere they were $6 here.

Ria, your mailbox is full. I might very well take your advice. Thank you so much!

I had no idea Bicillin shots are so expensive! My LLMD wants to start me on them soon, but I don't know if I can afford them in addition to all the other medications I'm on.

Does Bicillin come generic? Did anyone find any more affordable alteratives?

Well crap, I guess I wont be getting Bicillin La shots then. I was hoping for a Bicillin/Ketek combo. Not gonna happen at that price..even if my insurance covers their part.

Be very careful from online stores as one of the products is marked as bicillin this supplier Kievmedpreparat from the Ukraine only makes Benzyl penicillin Its standard pennicillin NOT benzathine Penicillin (Bicillin).

Bicillin or generic only comes in 600,1.2Mu & 2.4MU this is 1.5MU!!!!!! So only the Extencilline on this site at 2.4MU is a generic of Bicillin, as long as its genuine.

International Brand Names
Bandapen (AR); Bencelin (MX); Benzanil (MX); Benzathine Penicillin-Fresenius Vials (ZA); Benzetacil (AR, BR, ES, MX); Benzetacil L.A. (CL, CO, CR, DO, GT, HN, PA, SV); Benzilpenicilina Benzatina (BR); Benzilpenicillina Benzatinica Biopharma (IT); Benzilpenicillina Benzatinica (IT); Benzoside (EC); Bicillin L-A (AU, NZ, ZA); Biconcilina BZ (EC); Cepacilina (ES); Debecylina (PL); Deposilin (TR); Diaminocillina (IT); Durabiotic (IL); Durapen (RO); Extencilline (FR, RO, RU); Galtamicina (AR); Lastipen (RO); Lentocilin-S (PT); Longacilin (BR); LPG (AU); Moldamin (RO); Penadur (HK, LU); Penadur L.A. (BE, CY, EG, ID, JO, KW, LB, MT, PT, TH, TR); Pencom (IN); Pendepon (CZ, SK); Pen-Di-Ben (AR, DO); Pendiben (EC); Pen-Di-Ben (GT, HN, PA, SV); Pendysin (DE); Penicilina Benzatinica Richet (AR); Penicilina G. Benzatina (CL); Penicilina G Benzatina L.CH. (CL); Penicilina G Benzatinica (AR, CO); Penicilina G Benzatinica Fabra (AR); Penidural (NL); Penidure (IN); Penilente (EG, ZA); Retarpen (AT, CY, CZ, HU, JO, KW, LB, PL, RO, RU, SG, SI); Tardocillin (DE); Taropen (PL); Unicil L.A. My question is to Rhiana, who posted a couple of years ago that she gets her bicillin overseas. If you are still on this site Rhiana, (or anyone else who knows about this), can you let me know the companies you are buying your Bicillin LA from? my LLMD was using Farma Mondo in Switerland to get Extencilline, but they are not having their calls returned. You mentioned getting it from New Zealand or maybe South Africa? is this true. I am looking for the 1.2mui. Could you give me the contact info if so?

If you could reply soon as I am running out and will have to pay the hefty price here in the US for Bicillin LA.

thanks, Sharon

I strongly recommend you NOT go to Costco for Bicillin injections!!

They do NOT know what they are doing there. I was given Bicillin CR 600,000 Mu when I was supposed to be getting Bicillin LA!! It cost $485 for the CR which is NOT strong enough for Lyme! When I confronted the Pharmacist she denied any wrong doing and at first blamed it on my LLND. Then later said the boxes were not labeled. Which is NOT TRUE! This has happened before so now the boxes are labeled very clearly and one is blue and the other green, so there is NO EXCUSE for giving me the wrong med! See the link below.

http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm4835a2.htm

Bicillin LA 1,200,00mu should cost around $850 for 10. If you are getting them for around $500 please make sure you are getting the correct med LA and not CR!
