Has anyone had any experience flying in a private plane with an acessed port-a-cath?
My husband has a Mooney that he flies all the time, but I have not been in it for a very long time due to feeling like CRAP if you get my drift.
He's trying to tell me that if I had ANY problems at all, he could land at the closest airport and have an ambulance waiting for us, so I have nothing to worry about.
I'm honestly not "worried". I just don't want to be down right stupid.
Anyone ever done this?

Thanks AP. I think I just needed a pep talk. I have been in so much pain lately and don't want to let me daughter down since I've missed so many of her college activities while being sick.
I actually think I'd feel more comfortable in a commercial plane. Not as bumpy. But then I guess my personal pilot would have a lot more riding in getting me down safely.
Must be more anxiety kicking in. It's been full tilt with this pain lately.
Frustrating disease when you think you are on the right protocol, doing so well and wham. My head spins.
Thanks for the insight.
